She breathes her life as if it were champagne
fizzy and funny to the tongue, but intoxicating, scintillating,
diamond bright and dazzling to the mind
Her gentleness is tempered only by cruelty
for love is stronger than death
but burns hotter than fire
To refuse her gaze is madness
for who could deny this beauty?
but to enter in is to lose all hope of control
As a princess born, royalty flows in her veins, for she is as nature,
without the boundaries of logic or reason that any man understands,
her hunger roars inside her until the strong grovel at her feet, she is perverse
The timing of her seasons is as the Creator designed, capricious and lively
no whimsy of mortal man may challenge her springtime, it is pure
when summer arrives all rejoice in her warmth for her blessings are freely shared
What beauty is lacking in her encompassing affections? Only the crooked and broken contrast of pain
for she gives herself to another, her bounty and pulchritude are denied me
there is no harvest offered to me, who once was at one with all of creation,
Never again to join the celebration of her love.
Didn't we almost have it all?
When love was all we had worth giving
The ride with you was worth the fall my friend
Loving you made life worth living
